Continuous filament, not spun, and stronger than steel.  Virtually no memory or stretch, for solid, sure hook-ups. Not infused with floatant, since the line is normally held over the water. If wind picks up, and you need a little heavier line, simply dunk it in the water to add a little additional weight. False cast a few times to remove the water.
