Continuous filament, not spun, and stronger than steel. Raw silk is permanently impregnated with floatant. Virtually no memory or stretch, for solid, sure hook-ups. A great compliment to bamboo rods and silk lines, but works great with any rod or line.

Leader length is without tippet. Remember, you will be adding 2 feet of tippet or more to your leader.
